Our first stop was a local Macaw sanctuary where I learned about these beautiful creatures and their importance to the country’s ecology. I was amazed to see them up close and hear their distinctive squawking. The knowledgeable staff explained how they are being protected and bred to help repopulate the species. It was an unforgettable experience that gave me a newfound appreciation for these stunning birds.

Next, we set off on our ATV/side-by-side to explore the stunning beaches of Playa Islias and Carrillo Beach. As we rode along the winding roads, the scenery was breathtaking. The crystal-clear water, white sand, and swaying palm trees were a feast for the eyes. We made several stops to take in the views, dip our toes in the water, and snap some photos. Finally, we made our way to the iconic Playa Samara. Riding along the coast, the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the water.
